The standard is 15 working days from the day your documents are complete and your application goes into progress. Weekends and the Consulate-General’s holidays do not count. Where faster processing is available, the application shows the options. The tracking page shows the expected decision date as soon as the application is in progress.

We set the status to “Documents missing” and tell you exactly what is missing, by email and on the tracking page. You have 14 days from our request to upload them; the exact date is on the tracking page. If they have not arrived by then, the application is refused, and the fees are not refunded.
